Where to stay in Ibiza

What could be more rock and roll than staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza? It’s pure decadence and a real party hub. Best of all, if you are planning a trip to Ibiza next year, you can take advantage of early bird rates via the Pogo app. For a 7 night stay in June next year, you can book a hotel room for just £1846, saving almost 15%.

This flamboyant and super-stylish hotel is a short distance from Bossa beach and has its own party scene which is so good, you may never want to venture out of the hotel!

TOP TRAVEL TIPS

Here are our top three travel tips when visiting Ibiza

1) Decide what kind of Ibiza holiday you want. When you are planning a trip to Ibiza, you probably have got an idea of what you want your Ibiza experience to be. Whilst the island is a clubber's paradise, it’s also suitable for a romantic escape, family getaways and a relaxing wellness experience too.

Whilst nights out are practically a rite of passage when it comes to visiting Ibiza, we can’t help thinking that the alternative side to Ibiza with its bohemian spirit is worth exploring too.

Why not add visits to the hippy markets in Las Dalias and Punta Arabí to your Ibiza trip itinerary and you might just grab yourself a bargain at the same time?

2) If you are wondering when is the best time to go to Ibiza, we got your back! If you are wanting to indulge in the island’s nightlife, then it’s worth noting that the clubs in Ibiza generally start to open sometime in May or June, but the best time to go to Ibiza when planning a trip is mid summer - around July or August when the party scene is at its peak and there’s the biggest selection of parties to enjoy.

For travellers going on wellness retreats and looking to explore the alternative side to the island, then you can book your ibiza trip at any time, but it’s worth noting that the clubs are closed between late October through April.

3) Getting around Ibiza is pretty easy, bus travel is the cheapest and most effective way to get around the island and connect the major towns which are certainly worth exploring.

There’s a party-oriented DiscoBus which connects the likes of San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa which run throughout the night during the main clubbing season.major clubs, running all night throughout the season.

Of course, you can grab a taxi of which there are plenty, but you may have to wait to get back to your hotel as the clubs close. Be sure to download the Taxi Ibiza app when planning your Ibiza trip as Uber is not available in Ibiza (or indeed any of the Balearic Islands).

During the day, if you can tear yourself away from the hotel pool or beach, you can easily hire a bike and discover the beauty of the island at your leisure. Watch out though as Ibiza can be pretty hilly so you may want to opt for an ebike when exploring the island.
