Why visit Warsaw
Poland’s capital is colourful, artistic and fascinating with a storied history, largely attributed to its captivating Old Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Old Town is where you will find beautiful palaces, the market square which dates back to the 13th century, and some of Warsaw’s most interesting museums such as the historical Museum of Warsaw, the Dollhouse Museum and the Museum of Literature.
Add all of these on to the ‘See and Do’ section of your Warsaw Pinboard.

TOP TRAVEL TIPS
Here are our top three travel tips when visiting Warsaw:
Warsaw airport can get pretty busy as the city grows in popularity. Bear in mind that sometimes it may take you longer to get through the airport, so either book your flights to accommodate this, or consider flying into another city and getting the train from destinations like Gdansk and Krakow instead. You could visit two cities and plan a multi-city travel itinerary with Pogo!
If you are looking for the best views in the city, then head on over to St. Anne’s church in the market square where for 6 Zloty (around £1) you can climb up to the top where you will be rewarded with some of the most amazing views of the city!
Whilst they may look authentically old, the building’s in Warsaw’s Old Town aren’t as old as they may look. The majority of this area’s historical buildings were sadly completely flattened during World War II and have been sympathetically recreated over the years. Despite not being the original architecture, the Old Town still looks magnificent and gives a true sense of Warsaw’s history.
